Deben Mishra is an Indian film editor. He predominantly worked in the Odia film industry. He contributed to over 50 movies spanning two decades. Mishra graduated from The Film and Television Institute of India (FTII). He even worked in Bollywood movies in his initial days. Mishra debuted as an editor in the Odia film Pua Moro Kala Thakura (1988). In his initial days, he also worked on movies like Jor Jar Mulak Tar (1986) and Chaka Akhi Sabu Dekhuchi (1987). Then he worked in movies like Rajanigandha (1989), Asuchi Mo Kalia Suna (1989), Daiba Daudi (1990), Chakadola Karuchi Leela (1990), and more. He then worked in the Bengali and Odia movie director Rabi Kinagi’s Paradeshi Chadei (1990). He then edited films like Aama Ghara Aama Sansara (1991), Udanti Sheeta (1992), Shardhanjali (1994) and many more. Mishra then worked in the prominent Odia movie Rana Bhumi (1995).
