Amit Nayak

Amit Nayak is a famous Odia choreographer. He worked as a choreographer in well-known movies like Agastya 2016, Maya 2015, and Aain Kanoon 2011. He lives in Bhubaneswar, India. He also owns a Dance Studio named Amit Dance Studio. He has always wanted to be a dancer since his childhood. Uday Shankar Swain is his guru. He was the one who played a significant role in making him a skilled dancer. He called him at his institute, i.e., Sarala Dance Institute, to teach break dance to him.

He got his break in the songs Puchuki Gaali and Feshanawaaali as a dancer when Safi Ula Haq, aka Babu, a famous Odia choreographer, saw him in a dance competition in Cuttack when he was only 14. He learned break dance for five years, did many shows, and started his academy at the young age of 18. He did not stop here and learned Chhau dance for five years and Odissi for two years. Then, he went to Mumbai and joined the Pappu Mallu Dance Group in 2000. He has done concerts in the USA and, Dubai to Bangkok.
