Dibesh Pokharel (Arthur Gunn) , was born on 24 October 1997 in Kathmandu, Nepal. His father’s name is Datram, and his mother’s name is Maiya. He have four Sisters name, Rupa, Rubi, and Supriya. From the age of two, he sang songs together with playing Guitar. His family emigrated to Wichita, Kansas, in 2008 when he was 11 but remained in Nepal and finished school. He immigrated to Wichita, Kansas, in 2014 after completing high school and joining his family. He purchased a new guitar and played in the city’s coffeehouses. His musician friends urged him to audition for American Idol. Gunn released his first song in 2018 and, around the same time, started using his stage name. In June 2020, Gunn was one of the featured singers for a virtual arts event hosted by the U.S. Embassy in Kathmandu.
