Deepak Bajracharya is a renowned Nepali Singer, guitarist, and Lyricist. He was born on 2 May in Patan. He belongs to Kathmandu, Nepal. He was born into a sculptural family in Nepal. He worked as a sculptor before he made his unique name in the music industry. He married Amira and was blessed with two children; a daughter Cherisha Bajracharya and his son Deon Bajracharya. He is a successful and well-known singer in Nepal Music Industry. He started his music career with a song titled Chodi Gayo Priye. He has released various albums like Aasai Aasma in the 90s; Samaya in 97s; Deepak Bajracharya in 93s; Geet in 2000; Best of Deepak Bajracharya in 99s; Asar in 2002; Jhumi Jhumi in 2004; Onrush in 2011.
He received various awards, including Hit’s FM Music Award for Best Vocal Performance for his third album Samaya in 1997 and Aaha Music Award for Best Vocal Performance for his song Priya in 2000. He introduced the Latino Style music into the Nepal music industry for the first time. His first hit song was Oh Amira, which attracted a huge fan following for him and was dedicated to his wife. He has opened an academy where they tutor musicians titled Royal Tine Academy. He is the brand ambassador for brands like Bagpiper Whiskey, Kodak Film, Anna Lifan Motorcycle, Samsung Electronics, and World Link Communication.
He also promoted Nepal Tourism in the United States in 2011. He titled his band The Rhythm. During the Pandemic year of coronavirus, he started a live music show with his band titled; Musical Medicine. He released The Corona Song in English and Nepali and got support from UNICEF. The first episode of The Musical Medicine Show was released on Tv and Youtube on 23 January 2023. He has done stage and musical tours, including Tuborg Open Session, Deepak’s Night in Hong Kong, Ma Ra Mero Guitar, and many more.
