Hem Raj BC is a famous Nepalese film director, screenwriter and producer. He was born on 30 December 1985, in Chhinchu-7, Surkhet, Nepal. His parents are Mr. Khadga Bahadur Buddha and Mrs. Tulsi Devi Buddha. BC completed his secondary education in Nepalgunj. From a very young age, BC was interested in cinema. His main motivation to become a filmmaker came from the Bollywood film industry. When BC was 19, he went on a solo journey to Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, to chase his dreams. In 2012, BC returned to Nepal after hearing the news of his father passing away and decided to stay in his home country.

It received the Best Director and Best Screenplay Award at the Dcine Awards, and the Best Director and Best Story Award at the Kamana Film Awards. Other films directed, produced, and written by BC are ‘Gangster Blues’ (2017), ‘The Break Up’ (2019), and ‘Ghamand Shere’ (2019).
