Neer Bikram Shah, also known as Nir Shah, is a renowned senior actor and director of the Nepalese Film Industry. The multitalented star is a successful businessman, producer, lyricist, and poet. Belonging to the Royal family of Nepal, Neer Bikram Shah was born on 12 October 1953 in Kathmandu, Nepal. Neer Bikram Shah was the founder and first head of NTV or Nepal Television, a national public state-controlled television broadcaster. For another film production company, New Century Pictures Pvt.Ltd, Neer is one of the proprietors. Neer Shah also served as the chairman of - the Film Development Board Nepal for six months in 2002. He also worked at Governing Council of the College of Journalism and Mass Communication in Nepal. In the film industry, he started working as an actor in minor roles in movies like Parivartan (1971), Man Ko Bandh (1973), Sindoor (1980), and Basudev (1984).
