YouTuber Tanmay Singh

TanmaySingh is a renowned Indian YouTuber born on 30 July 1996 in Valsad, Gujarat. His father is a businessman and mother Sasmita Singh is a home-maker. He had a passion for gaming, since he was a kid and initially played games like Virtua Cop, Duke Nukem (3D), Midtown Madness etc. He also wanted to become a footballer and played football in Chandigarh for the Minerva Academy. Later, he had to quit football because of an ACL injury. During his recovery, he discovered PUBG and started playing. He finished his education till 12th standard. He took admission in engineering but dropped out to pursue gaming as a full-time career. His gaming name is Scout OP., which he chose because Scout was his favourite weapon in the video game Counter-Strike (CS 1.6). His first international e-sports tournament was at PUBG Mobile Star Challenge (PMSC) in 2018, where he represented India in Thailand. He achieved the 16^th position in the competition as a member of TeamIND. In 2018, his team GodLike Esports won the Fighting League, which was one of the first PUBG mobile tournaments happened in India. Again in 2019 he re-joined TeamIND and won second place in PUBG Mobile Club Open- Spring Split in New Delhi, India. Then he joined the team ‘Team Soul’ for a short period in 2019. After that, he joined the team Fnatic in 2019 and won the 9^th place at PUBG Mobile Club Open- Fall Split: South Asia and the 8^th position in Peacekeeper Elite Championship. The Peacekeeper Elite Championship in 2019 was a turning point in his life. In 2020, his team Fnatic achieved the 6^th place in PUBG Mobile Club Open- Spring Split and PUBG Mobile Pro League- South Asia Season 1.

He joined Orange Rock Esports in 2020 and they secured the 2^nd position in the PUBG Mobile World League: East. In 2021, he rejoined the Team Soul but by the end of that year he had his own team TeamXSpark. His new team participated in many tournaments and achieved many positions including 3^rd at the A-Tier match Battlegrounds Mobile India Series in 2023. He gained significant recognition by 2024 and now has lakhs of subscribers. He has received awards like Gamer of the Year Award at the Global Excellence Awards in 2024 and the Fan Favourite Esports Player of the Year in 2022 at India’s Biggest Gaming Awards. He is the first gamer to be feature in ICC Cricket World Cup official anthem in 2023. Besides gaming, he is an anime fan and collects anime figurines.
