Intekhab Mahmood is one of India’s leading visual effects and art directors. His work has found its way in many of Bollywood’s most popular movies. Mahmood is a perfectionist whose art is an outlet for his deep-rooted creativity. He comes from the town of Bhagalpur, where he pursued a degree in the Zoological Sciences at the TilkaManjhi University. Mahmood had never actually envisioned a career in art for himself. He would frequent a small video game parlor, which also served as a workshop for digital art.
There, the instructor noticed his inherent skill with the photoshop software and set him down the road of professional VFX design. His work signed him onto one of India’s foremost Bollywood digital art platforms, ‘NY VFXWAALA,’ as a part of their creative crew. This organization was initiated by the filmstar, Ajay Devgn, as an extension to his production house. It caters to a lot of movies across a vast range of commercial videography. Mahmood’s talent served to raise him through the ranks into the position of Assistant VFX Supervisor.
