Akangsha Rawat Sahdev Hindi Actress

Akangsha Rawat Sahdev

Akangsha Rawat or Akangsha Rawat Sahdev or sometimes misquoted as Akangsha Rawat Sachdev is an Indian TV actress from Delhi. She was born on September 12 and has done her schooling from St. Cecilia's Public School. She went to University of Delhi for her graduation and later attended Xavier’s Institute of Communication (XIC) at Mumbai for post-graduation in marketing and advertisement. She belongs to a family where nobody else has ever done any acting or modeling. She has one brother and one sister. Akangsha Rawat got married to actor Piyush Sahdev on June 25th, 2012. This couple had known each other at the set of ‘Meet Mila De Rabba’, a serial which was telecasted on Sony TV from Nov 2008 to May 2009. It is said that both are of different nature, but still fell in love. She started her career with modeling during her graduation days. Later, when she shifted to Mumbai, she was determined to become an actor and started appearing for lots of auditions for various roles for different channels. She finally got a role in ‘ Solhah Singaarr’, which was telecasted from Oct 2006 to Aug 2008 on Sahara One. Akangsha played the role of “Meera/Shagun”, which was the main lead character in the serial. The role kept her quite busy and she mentioned in one of her interviews that she used to shoot for 16 hours a day. It is interesting to know that both Piyush and Akangsha were auditioned for a weekly crime-drama, ‘Hum Ne Li Hai… Shapath.’ It was telecast on ‘Life OK’ from Jan 2012 to July 2013 and initially Akangsha was selected as the lead of the show. But, later it was canceled, citing Akangsha unfit for the lead character, though Piyush was given the role of ‘Senior-Inspector Abhigyan’. A fresh face and just a serial old this beautiful lass is determined to make a mark in TV industry. Personally, she likes to have a happy-go-lucky and relaxed life. Another version of Bio...  One of the remarkable aspects of the current crop of youngsters thronging the acting scene is the qualification and specialization that they possess in other areas of professional pursuit. This could have easily taken them up the corporate ladder had they chosen a different scenario to guide their lives. One such example is that of Akangsha Rawat, who besides sporting her pretty looks and giving rave performances on the small screen, could have easily held her own in the midst of tough board presentations, with her Marketing qualifications, acquired from none other than the St Xavier’s College, well reputed for its management courses. Moving from her Garhwali beginnings, she had spent her initial years in the national capital, where she had spent her childhood and schooling, only to shift later to Mumbai, from where she obtained her post graduation in Advertisement & Marketing. Although in the beginning she did not betray any inkling towards shifting to acting, the fact that she had been regularly taking up modeling assignments side by side with her graduation studies, ultimately guided her towards acting, following a now common trend. Being relatively more recent, her “Solhah Singar” depiction of the central character of Meera, drew rave responses from amongst her eager fans, presumably because of her looks and the charm she displays as carefree, happy go lucky young girl. However, the more discerning among soap audiences, held her less glamorized role of the 18 year old Pavni in “ Palampur Express” in much higher critical acclaim. She emoted to the feelings of a girl torn between her determination to be an athlete, and the rigid parental objections she had to encounter, in an excellent manner, bringing in uncanny maturity in her portrayal and displaying a deep appreciation of the role. Perhaps logically, she now looks forward to moving away from the typical “saas-bahu” stereotype (that has influenced Indian soap right from inception), and is keen to take up more differentiated types of roles, but arguably at her own pace. The dramatic change that has now come over in her life through her marriage with fellow TV actor, Piyush Sahdev could be the reason for her to choose lesser working hours in future. But the happily married couple seems set to have separate reel life and real life, since their working together in the serial “Hum Ne Li Hai…. Shapath”, did not mature ultimately. Another version of Bio...  Akagnsha Rawat is Garhwali by birth and was brought up by in the capital of the Indian subcontinent. Later, she was shifted to Mumbai where she completed her post graduation in Advertisement and Marketing from St.Xavier’s college. She also worked in modeling field during her graduation. After a few years, she got the interest in the acting field, and moved ahead to audition for distinct roles for different channels. Finally, she landed up with the fantastic role in ‘Solhah Singaar’. She grabbed the audience attraction for the role in Solhah Singaar. Akangsha Rawat is very confident about her future that her acting performance will hit both in silver screen and small screen. She is a beautiful actress who leads a quite carefree life, both in profession and personal life. Akangsha Rawat married Piyush Sahadev in the year 2012, who is also a Television actor. They got married in ISCKON Temple,Juhu. Piyush Sahadev, husband of Akangsha Rawat has been seen in many Telivision serials like Meet Mila De Rabba, Ghar Ek Sapna, Maan Kee Awaaz Pratigya and Devon Dev Mahadev.
