Abhishek Maindola is an actor who is known for his work in the Hindi film industry and theatre. Abhishek is a passionate theatre artist who has spent his entire career around the stage and big screen. He comes from Dehradun, where he did his initial schooling. He is the founder and president of the theatre group, ‘Sambhav Manch Parivar.’ Through his thespian venture, he has directed, scripted, and acted in several plays.
Many of the dominant themes that his stories revolve around include societally prevalent evils like foeticide and discrimination. Some of his most popular plays are, ‘Kya Hai Meri Pehchaan, ‘Kanyadaan’ and ‘Lahore Nhi Dekhiya.’ He has also acted and written screenplays for short feature films, some of which went on to be showcased at the Doon International Film Festival.
Even though his mainstay has been stage performance, he has also worked in several Bollywood movies in supporting roles. He has been a part of ‘Sazaa,’ and ’72 hours: Martyr who never died.’ His dedication and skill are highlighted by his portrayal of strong characters.
