Rakshit Thantry

Rakshit Thantry is a sound engineer, music composer, and mix engineer who works mainly in the Bollywood film industry. He completed his Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Pune University in 2008. He also completed his diploma in film-making, sound recording, and design at Whistling Woods International in 2011. He has been a sound engineer and music composer since 2012. He also did some music videos like “Ayigiri Nandhini” in 2021, “Lost In Love” in 2019, “Aa Gayi Hai Ruth” in 2020, and “Rise Again” in 2020. He won the Best Music Album Award for “Neo-Gidda (English)” at Awardio Events and he also won the Best Background Score Award (The Last Right) at the Golden Film International Festival in 2020. He is known as a composer for movies like Bhuke in 2012, Amidst Dark in 2013, Manuu in 2018, The Last Right in 2020, and the Moh Maya Machine TV Series in 2022.

He also worked in the music department for Pinky Beauty Parlour in 2016, Counting Stars in 2016, Khejdi in 2018, JL50 in 2020, Namaste Wahala in 2021, Divine Trails: Spiritual Treasures of Uttarakhand in 2023, and Shekar Lakhot in 2023.
