Yadu Sankalia is an Indian actor known for his supporting role as Zaid Ahmed in Anup Kurain’s romantic drama “Manasarovar” (2004). It was his debut film and he had been lauded for his terrific performance as well but vanished from the big screen after that. He was brought back by Kurain twelve years later for the thriller “The Blueberry Hunt” (2016), starring Naseeruddin Shah.
Sankalia portrayed the negative role of one of the killers in the film, which revolves around the story of an old recluse residing in a remote estate in Vagamon, Kerala with his German Shepherd and growing Blueberry Skunk, a highly potent breed of marijuana. Sankalia’s acting, despite being in a supporting role, embodied all the emotional aspects attributed to a brilliant artist.
