Anushka Lekharu is an independent freelance model. She was born in Guwahati, Assam. Lekharu studied from Delhi Public School, a renowned institution in Guwahati. She completed her graduation from Handique Girls College and her Master in English Literature from Doon University, Dehradun. Anushka’s hobbies lie in traveling, dancing and singing. She is also a food enthusiast. The Assamese model does a good job in music and is a trained classical singer. She has a broad skillset and excels in creative content creation, video shooting, fashion styling, hair styling and educational leadership. Anushka entered the world of beauty pageants at the tender age of 16 and considered Aishwarya Rai as her inspiration. She was also felicitated by Byatikram MASDO for making to the top 12 finalist of the Femina Miss India 2023. Anushka Lekharu also bagged the title of Miss Eco Warrior in 2023. She was featured on the official YouTube page of Reliance Trends and wished to represent her motherland on an international stage. The official page of FEMINA Beauty Pageant also featured Anushka’s introductory video. Apart from modelling, the promising artist also has a significant contribution in the good of the society. She had raised funds for the Child Help Foundation, a non-profit organization that aims to help children across India. She also courageously talks about the need for sex education and changing mindsets. The former Miss India also emphasizes on overcoming self0doubts, body image issues, and other social aspects.
