Vir Sanghvi is an Indian television journalist, Author, talk show host, food critic, columnist, and editor. He was born in Mumbai and brought up in Mumbai and London. Sanghvi went to Mayo College, Ajmer, and Mill Hill School, London, for his schooling. Later on, he went to Brasenose College Oxford to study politics, philosophy, and economics for his graduation. In 2021, he's a member of the Broadcast Content Complaint Council (BCCC), a body that governs content on entertainment TV channels. He is the Co-Founder and Lead Food Critic at EazyDiner. He has been a member of numerous government bodies, one of which is the National integration council.
Vir Sanghvi jots down a column, Rude Food, in the Hindustan Times Brunch magazine, for which the Indian Culinary Foundation gave him the “Best Food Critic” award. Vir is the maker and host of “A Matter of Taste” and "Vir Sanghvi’s Asian Diary" on the Travel Living channel. Sanghvi was also the judge for the tv cooking competition, Foodistan. Sanghvi has published various books named - Rude food, Then and Now, Men of steel ( based on India's leading businessman), Mandate, 26/11 the attack on Mumbai, Madhavrao Scindia. Vir married Malavika Sanghvi, an author, and they had a son Raaj Sanghvi and a daughter Mallika Sanghvi. Later on, he divorced Malavika and married Seema Goswami.
