Shantanu started his career as a child artist. He worked in 4 to 5 films. Shantanu Bagchi directed the film Mission Majnu (2023), which remained in the top 10 on many online platforms. He also directed a short film named Nycil Cool Shower. In 1991, he made his first advertisement film for Rasna instant orange drink. He has worked on more than 500 ad films.
