Shantanu started his career as a child artist. He worked in 4 to 5 films. Shantanu Bagchi directed the film Mission Majnu (2023), which remained in the top 10 on many online platforms. He also directed a short film named Nycil Cool Shower. In 1991, he made his first advertisement film for Rasna instant orange drink. He has worked on more than 500 ad films. He also won many awards Including, the New York Festival Award, MVA, The Book Award, Asian Cannes Award, Goa Fest Award, A and M Award, IPDA Award, and Indian Ad Club Award.
