Sameer Joshi is an Indian director and writer. He lives in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. He is married and has a child. He worked predominantly in the Bollywood and Marathi industries. He did his schooling at Satara. In 2006, he started his career as an associate degree freelance film writer with "Hi Porghi Kunachi," followed by 'Jana Gana Mana,' 'Hota Asa Kadhi Kadhi.' Mainly, his new film "Mamachya Gavala Jaoo," produced by Pankaj Challani, is released all over Maharashtra. Further, his previous movie "Mangalashtak Once More" was based on love, marriage, married life, misunderstandings and received a good response from the audience. Eventually, he felt that he shouldn't need to repeat this story so, he came out with a new subject which movie it is "Mamachya Gavala Jaoo" was written and directed by him.
He also worked recently in the Hindi feature film "Chappad Phaad Ke" as a writer and director produced by Saregama’s'Saregama'sYodlee film and is streaming on Hot star, VIP. "Miss U Mister" and "Bus Stop" are his latest films.
