Apak Gadi is a director, editor, and cinematographer. He is from Naharlagun, Arunachal Pradesh, India. He completed his MA in Mass Communication and Journalism at Sikkim Manipal University, Shillong Centre, in 2007 with a specialization in TV Production. Apak has worked for Oxiibalii Multimedia Production since 2009. Before joining Oxiibalii, he worked for Doordarshan Kendra, Itanagar as a resource person. Besides this, he also worked as the guest lecturer for the Department of Mass communication (RGU), Rono Hills.
He had directed many documentary films for the Government of Arunachal Pradesh. Apak Gadi has edited musical videos, feature films in Monpa. While working for DD Kendra, he had cinematographed and edited feature and documentary films. Besides this, he had also worked as a sound and graphic designer. He worked in the Sound Mixing department for White Splash, a documentary for the Department of Tourism, Government of Arunachal Pradesh.
