. Abhijeet Sawant rose to fame after his win in Indian Idol 1. He became a playback singer and his first album came the same year he won the reality show, the album is named as "Aapka Abhijeet Sawant".
He then got married to Shilpa on December 4, 2007, after his shot to fame. Shilpa and Abhijeet both participated in a reality show Nach Baliye (Season 4). They were a favourite couple of the judges. They won the hearts of judges as well as the Indian audiences with their moves.
Although, they did so well, they weren't able to reach the finals and got eliminated after facing public votes. Shilpa was a complete new comer in 'Nach Baliye' on the Indian Tv sets, and she is yet to be aired in any other shows.
