She is the wife of singer Abhijeet Sawant. Abhijeet Sawant rose to fame after his win in Indian Idol 1. He became a playback singer and his first album came the same year he won the reality show, the album is named as "Aapka Abhijeet Sawant".

He then got married to Shilpa on December 4, 2007, after his shot to fame. Shilpa and Abhijeet both participated in a reality show Nach Baliye (Season 4). They were a favourite couple of the judges. They won the hearts of judges as well as the Indian audiences with their moves.

Although, they did so well, they weren't able to reach the finals and got eliminated after facing public votes. Shilpa was a complete new comer in 'Nach Baliye' on the Indian Tv sets, and she is yet to be aired in any other shows.

Shambhavi Sharma

Shambhavi Sharma, the fame of MTV’s popular youth show ‘Roadies’. She became famous due to her cunning ways ad flirtatious comments on the reality show. Recently, she was highlighted because of being offered a role in a movie by Suniel Shetty and Ekta Kapoor. The movie named ‘The Little Godfather’. Shambhavi Sharma also mentioned in an interview that she loves facing the camera. She has lost the fear of facing the camera after roadies. Roadies has given huge to confidence to the lady, for sustaining her career in Bollywood. We wish Shambhavi all the best for her future in Bollywood. She also added that becoming flirty and cheesy in the show Roadies was one of her strategies to become a good participant.

Suchit Vikram Singh

Suchit Vikram Singh is one of the contestants of MTV Roadies Season 8. He was born on September 7, 1988, and is 26 year old, hailing from Haryana, who was selected during the Roadies auditions that took place in New Delhi. Singh was studying in Atma Ram Sanatan Dharma College of Delhi University when he auditioned for the reality TV series Roadies. Being a fearless and adventurous person he auditioned for Roadies Season 8 to fulfill his high adrenaline passion for adventure and to get an opportunity to travel. Singh possess good mountaineering skills, he also loves wild animals and is a very good dancer. As a performer in Roadies Season 8 he was the only person to successfully complete the first task assigned to contestants. During the first episode of the reality TV show he entertained the audience with his superb dancing skills. Singh had major rivalry with contestants Avtar Nishal and Devendra Singh, which ended up in a heated argument with Devendra Singh. Singh stated that during the audition process he was made to feel embarrassed by the jury Raghu Ram, Rajiv Ram and Ranvijay as he showed lack of self confidence, he also claimed to be a patient of multiple personality disorder and during times of excitement faced speech related problems. Singh gave the other contestants a run for their money during the tasks and earned the well deserved respect of contestants and viewers.
