Roshmi Banik was born in 1992 in Kolkata, West Bengal. She is a beautiful 5’4” young girl and speaks Bengali, Hindi, and English fluently. She completed her schooling from Ashok Hall Girls Higher Secondary School and was always interested in modelling and entrepreneurship. Roshmi did graduation in Business Administration (BBA) from a private college named Shri Shikshayatan in Kolkata. Then she started her own private business company of export and import of synthetic leather along with her partners Brij Verma and Sachi Kumari Verma.

In an interview, Roshmi said that she didn’t ask money from her parents to start her business rather managed it all on her own. Her company El Cureo Fashions manufactures luggage handbags, saddlery, harness, and footwear made of leather like synthetic leather. In 2018, Roshmi participated in Big Boss 12 as a commoner contestant. She was supposed to enter the Big Boss house with her enemy Mital Joshi, as a Jodi, with whom she was school friends with, but then Mital alleged Roshmi of having an affair with Mital’s boyfriend and so they parted ways. Though, Roshmi denied Mital’s allegations.
