Pragya Patra is a talented singer from Odisha. She turned popular after taking part in the reality TV show, the Voice Of India. Pragya belongs to Bhubaneshwar and she had been placed in a highly paid job in Google. But, her passion towards singing made her resign from her job and take part in Voice Of India. She was auditioned in the prelims with her audio sent through WhatsApp. After her successful participation in the show, the talented singer, got an opportunity to make it big on the silver screen. When Girish Makwana was searching for a new voice, Placing Dreams’ Nandhan Jha, introduced Pragya to Girish, who gave her an opportunity to make her debut in his film with the semi-classical song. So, she first made her silver screen entry in 2015 as a playback singer.
Pragya had also worked in the film, The Color Of Darkness, which released at the Indian Film Festival in Melbourne, Australia. Pragya worked with the production company, Happydemic and made a few songs for them. She started a company, Punyaa Productions to make the upcoming talents meet the versatile musicians. The young talents can showcase their singing talents to the experts, using Punyaa Productions as a platform.
