Ravi B Ranjan Sharma is an Indian cinematographer who works mainly in the Hindi industry. He is known for Flat 211 (2017), Lembi Leima (2022), and Thar (2022). He finished his Bachelor of Business Administration and Management at Sambalpur University, Odisha, in 2009. He was selected for two awards as best cinematographer (Special Jury Award) for Lembi Leima at the Buddha International Film Festival and Best Cinematography award at the Festival Del Cinema Di Cefalu in 2023. He won the technical category award for Lembi Leima in Aasha International Film Festival in 2024, Best Cinematography award for the same movie at Golden Fern Films Award, Darjeeling in 2023, and Jury Prize for Best Cinematography at Thilsri International Film Festival in 2023.
Ravi won the national award for his debut short film “Aaba...Aiktaay … Na? / Grandpa are you listening?” He was a winner of the 64th National Film Award for best direction (Kharvas / Milk Pudding) and the 65th National Film Award for best film fiction. He has worked as a second-unit cinematographer in feature films and web series. He gained (WICA) western Indian cinematographer association accreditation in 2023. He has done commercials, music videos and feature films.
