He graduated from Nainital’s Sherwood College just like his older brother. Unlike his older brother who pursued and shined in the Indian film industry, Ajitabh sought and excelled in the business world. He performed exceptionally well in his studies and learned to apply his knowledge quickly in the business world. He used to manage Amitabh’s films and schedules, and he dealt with the financial matters related to the movies.  

After working in India for a while, he moved to London and started his pharmaceutical business from scratch. He flew to India every few months to visit his brother. Ajitabh had a love marriage with his wife Ramola, a businesswoman and socialite. They met each other through Amitabh. They moved to London to start a family.
