Deepu Srivastava is a hilarious personality in the Indian film industry, born on April 9th, 1970, in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, India. He has the talents of a stand-up comedian and has demonstrated his comical tongue on numerous shows. He is the brother of the late famous comedian Raju Srivastava. His brother died on September 21, 2022. In 1993, he graduated from Kanpur University.

He is commonly known by the name Balai Kaka, especially to his friends. His father is Ramesh Chandra Srivastava, who has secured employment under the government while he pursued his passion for writing poetry. His mother, Saraswati Srivastava, took care of him and his brother at home. Deepu and Raju have a sister named Sudha. He married Sangeeta and has a son named Samarth.

He and his brother followed the route for a successful comedy career. They both had innate talent and showcased it at Kanpur before moving to Mumbai for better career prospects. Amongst these awards, the most notable won was Bharat Ratna for comedy, provided to him in Mumbai.
