Satendra Singh is one of the most popular and celebrated figures in the Bhojpuri film industry. Satendra Singh was born in Gopalganj, Bihar, India.

Satendra Singh studied law at the Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar Bihar University but decided to discontinue his practice in law as he saw himself being drawn to cinema more. To further his interest in acting, he went to the NSD (National School of Drama) in Delhi.

Satendra Singh’s work has also won him many awards, some of which are the Bhojpuri Film Award for Best Actor (2017), the IFFI (International Film Festival of India) Award for Best Actor (2018), the Zee Cine Award for Best Actor (Bhojpuri) (2020), and the ITA Award for Best Actor (Bhojpuri) (2021). He is much celebrated for his style and sense of dressing. Singh is a versatile actor and has played several roles; he also continues to inspire many aspiring actors.
