Maharshi Tuhin Kashyap a well-known screenplay writer, resides in Guwahati, Assam. He is a student at Satyajit Ray Film and Television Institute. He is a very good film-maker At International Moving Film Festival Iran, his short movie Kaan Phus Phusot Phus Phusoni won the Best Student Film Award. Also, his short film Mur Ghurar Duronto Goti has been screened at the Cineteca National Museum in Mexico and International Film Festival in Kolkata. One of his short films, The Horse from Heaven (Mur Ghurar Duronto Goti), won the Best Film award at the Golden Raven International Film Festival. His films are screened everywhere, around the globe.
