Eepsita Hazarika was born and raised in Khanapara, Guwahati, Assam, where she attended Kendriya Vidyalaya school. She then went to Cotton University, Assam, to earn a BA degree. She also holds an MBA degree from Amity University. In Guwahati, she began with her job profile at Doordarshan and became a presenter, anchor and interviewer. She has worked as a translator for films like Fight it Right (English, Hindi) by EduMedia Productions Mumbai and Local Kung Fu 2. She has also acted in the Code Red Story Soon >> Read More... (Colors channel) TV series.

During that time, Eepsita Hazarika started attending events and came out as a hostess for various festivals and events like the Guwahati International Film Festival, Brahmaputra Valley Film Festival (Doordarshan), Sangeet Natak Akademi, etc. Eepsita Hazarika also worked as a vocalist, singing and giving voices to devotional songs in Hindi, Sanskrit and Assamese. Besides being an actor, vocalist, and event hostess, she has also worked as a scriptwriter. She has also given voices in the background to various documentaries, dramas, advertisements, TV series, and movies in English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, and Sanskrit.
