Rahul Das, also famously known as Khaplang Kai, was an Assamese Actor born in Mangaldai town of Assam. His wife's name is Mohila Boro, with whom he had three sons. Rahul Das played an active role in video films and serials like Mama Bhagin, Borola, Borola Top Ten, Oei Khaplang, Local Priti, Dang Kaiti Baai, and Hello Guwahati. He was a regular musician in a local music group called Eco. He passed away on 16 October 2017 at Gauhati Medical College and Hospital (GMCH).
