Biju was born on 18th February 1947 is an Assamese actor. He was born in Dibrugarh, India. He completed his education at Kanoi College. He has done more than 80 Assamese films. He has also done some Bengali movies. He did his first movie “Dr. Bezbarua” in 1970. He did a lead role in “Baruar Songshar” followed by “Aranya,” after which his performance was celebrated in the industry. One of the songs that outshone him was “Mon Hira Doi” from the film “Bowari.” His film was adjudged the Best Regional Film at the National Film awards.
Biju was also very intrigued by politics, so he dabbled for some time. He passed away due to cardiac ailments at the age of 70.
