Atanu Mahanta is a well-known Assamese actor. He was born on June 1, 1990, and he grew up in Nalbari, Assam. He completed a specialisation in acting from the National School of Drama, Sikkim, in the year 2017.Â
Atanu has acted in plays such as Aasad Ka Ek Din, Bauli Meghor Xadhu, Mrithchkatikam, Purush, Kanjoos and Tritiyo. Some of the feature films in which he has acted include, Eklavya, Burbokor Khel, and Junaki Poruwa. He is also a part of short films like Nirvana, Desolation, and I Am Good.Â
Atanu is working as a freelancing actor.
