Zid is a Pakistani serial in Urdu-language that premiered on 26th December 2014 on Hum TV. As the title suggests, Zid is a serial that presents the various aspects of being a stubborn person in society. The story focuses on the life of Saman, an independent working woman with a stubborn nature. Saman's stubbornness had already broken her engagement twice. Thus, her aunt came with a marriage proposal of a guy named Omar. He is a divorcee, settled in the USA. Worried about the stubbornness of Saman, her aunt convinced Saman's father to marry Saman off to Omar. Soon, Saman was married to Omar. She was unaware of his previous marriage; however, on the wedding night, Omar told Saman about his last marriage, after which Saman lost her mind and confronted her father.

Saman's life after marriage was doomed. She had frequent fights with her husband, which led her to leave his house. She started living with Zainab, her school friend, unaware that her she is her husband's ex-wife. Zid presents us with the repercussions of our stubbornness.
