Zeenat Bint-e-Sakina Hazir Ho is an Urdu Language Television series aired on Channel Geo TV from 16 March 2010 till 15 June 2010. Mumtaz Bukhari wrote this series, which was directed by Mohammad Naeem Khan. The story of this series was based on real happenings and highlights the drawbacks of Pakistan's prevailing federal system.
In this series, Zeenat and Lakhmir Khan decide to marry each other against the wishes of their families, unaware of the possibilities. Angry at the marrying of their own accord, both families choose to take revenge on the couple. In the case of Kidnapping and raping of Shumaila, Bilal is accused. The couple is forced to live apart. Lakhmeer now faces life threats because of the allegations made against him by some persons who want to punish him for the crimes he has not committed.
