The story starts with Sherry and Asna. Asna comes from a wealthy background, whereas Sherry is a middle-class man. They study in the same college and are classmates. Asna and Sherry become friends and fall in love gradually. Although Asna is a high-class girl, she is attracted to the genuineness of Sherry. Sherry is charming and likes that Asna is not like other girls. She is rich but does not show off or is snobbish in nature.

Hell breaks loose when they discuss their love partners with their parents. Sherry’s parents refuse the marriage. They believe that since Asna is a rich girl, it will be difficult for her to adjust to a middle-class life. Asna’s parents revolt because Sherry’s family does not match their status. But both are adamant about marrying each other as love knows no bounds. Finally, both of their parents had to cave in.

But before happiness comes their way, fate takes a cruel turn. Sherry gets kidnapped, unknown to his family. Asna had no contact with him. The sudden disappearance of Sherry convinces Asna that he has run away from her and his responsibilities. She believed that Sherry was a fraud and he would never come back. Meanwhile, her parents forced her to marry Aamir, whom they had chosen. Asna was torn between her love and her responsibilities towards her family. Asna reluctantly agrees to marry Aamir as Sherry is not going to come back.

She now hopes for security and love in her marriage. Sherry breaks free and runs away from his kidnappers. He finds out that Asna has married. Sherry was shocked, but he does not believe in playing by the rules. He is determined to claim what was once his. He refuses to give up Asna as he still loves her the same. As the story continues, Asna, Aamir, and Sherry have to go through a rough journey. Their feelings had to go through love, grief, and heartache. Asna tries to forget Sherry and build a new life with Aamir. But Aamir dies unexpectedly. This adds complexities to Asna’s life to deal with her choices.
