Tanha Dil is a Pakistani drama Urdu serial that was directed by Irfan Aslam and produced by Tariq Shah Tariq Shah is an actor and director in the televis >> Read More... and Farouq Mengal. The executive producer was Seema Taher Khan. The serial revolves around a woman named Sara and how her life gets eventually surrounded by drama and heartbreak. The serial starts by introducing Sara who is seen to be the main character throughout the serial. She is portrayed as a fine and courageous woman who is a journalist by profession. She is shown to be kind and a happy person who believes in living life to the fullest of her abilities and with a positive outlook. The second person who is introduced in the story is Rani who happens to be the cousin of Sara. She is shown to be a determined person but not the popular kind.

The third person who gets introduced to the audience is a man named Saad. He is shown to be quite the fearless or the daredevil kind of man who women swoon in front of. This trio makes the main plot of the story. Sara is shown to be a determined journalist who finds that she needs something dramatic to enhance her life or career and that she might be motivated in life or feel refreshed. Meanwhile her cousin Rani is depicted as a person who belongs to a poor family and is determined to change her life and status. She is shown to be willing to do anything so that she might gain the confidence and the power to become a well established person on her own and lead a life that she and her family truly deserve. Sara’s much needed drama begins the moment that the trio meet each other. Unbeknownst to anyone they fall in love with each other and as the tie flies by it becomes stronger and a lot feelings get involved in the process.

However, when Saad declares his love a love triangle leads the way to deceit, lies and hatred. Eventually the three get separated from each other via a chain of misunderstandings and severe mistakes on their own behalf which leaves a rift between them. One thing becomes common in between all of them which they are themselves not aware of. They are all the pawns of a deadly game involving one mastermind named Rao Anand behind all the misunderstood mind games. It is him who will hold the final strings of their future and if he would succeed in doing so. How the story progresses from there and if the three find any reconciliation later in life is what the rest of the episodes constitute. The story was written by Sheikh Fasish Uddin and the serial consists of a total of 93 episodes telecasted on TV One.
