The show revolves around a romantic storyline and portrays the trials and tribulations faced by the central characters. The story begins with Zoya and Zohaib meeting coincidentally at a mall in Dubai and fighting over a doll. Zohaib later helps Zoya when her car breaks down and takes her to the hospital when she faints, learning she has an eating disorder. In Pakistan, Zohaib's wife Zahra runs into her former suitor Asad, whom she had rejected for Zohaib and left heartbroken. When Zohaib returns from Dubai, he gifts his daughter the doll, making Zahra suspicious.

Zohaib then discovers his boss Shiraz's daughter is Zoya. Shiraz asks Zohaib to train her in the business. Zohaib throws Zoya a birthday party on his anniversary with Zahra, causing tension. Later, Shiraz has Zoya sent back to Dubai. Missing Zohaib, Zoya gets engaged to Adil but still loves Zohaib, who also realizes he loves her. They start dating secretly before Zohaib returns to Pakistan. Zoya agrees to forget Zohaib and marry Adil. Zoya is then diagnosed with a brain tumor and Adil leaves her.

She contacts Zohaib, who goes to Dubai and marries her. In Pakistan, Zahra is devastated but cared for by Asad. Zoya becomes pregnant but has friction with Shiraz's new wife Zeba. Zahra divorces Zohaib and prepares to marry Asad before Zohaib asks to have his daughter live with him and Zoya. In the end, Zoya dies after giving birth and asks Zahra to raise her daughter. Zohaib apologizes to Zahra, who forgives him but needs time. Asad leaves heartbroken still loving Zahra.
