The plot is about Jaggi, a likable but aimless Punjabi man who develops feelings for Kartika, an ebullient NRI girl who is about to get married. Jaggi sets out on a quest to earn Kartika's heart after being moved by an Indian Foreign Service officer named Gautam's wedding speech. Jaggi, however, uses unlawful methods to enter Europe, specifically through France. A chance encounter between Gautam and Jaggi is brought on by fate. Gautam's marriage is also having problems.
