The story revolves around Aneesa. She is a cheerful and lively girl. Aneesa had a beautiful childhood. She has a close bond with her parents. She has a long-time lover, Ramis. Her parents fix their marriage. On the day of her marriage, Aneesa discovers that her parents are not her actual parents. Her parents have adopted her. Aneesa’s biological mother had left her when she was a child. This sudden news was a complete shock to everyone. Ramis’ family is not happy with this news. They want to back off from the wedding because Aneesa’s family has hidden a significant truth. Aneesa is shocked but curious as well. She loves her adoptive parents. However, she has to find out where she comes from. She wants to find out about her actual parents. Her marriage has halted, but Ramis and Aneesa still love each other.

Here begins the journey of Aneesa to find the truth about her origin. Aneesa, Ramis, and her best friend together try to unravel this mystery. Her adoptive parents provide her with her adoption certificate. With it, they reach the orphanage where she was supposedly adopted. They find out that her certificate is fake. They come to a dead end. Meanwhile, one relative blackmails Aneesa’s father about her daughter's truth. Her father also knows some truth about her adoption. He meets with an unknown lady, whom he pays to leave as Aneesa knows the truth.

The parents are upset, and feel that Aneesa, once their world, does not love her anymore. They are heartbroken and feel alone. Their strong family bond seems to fade away. They discover many things about Aneesa’s past throughout their journey to truth. The journey to self-discovery reveals dirty secrets about the people dear to Aneesa. The viewers see that although Mir is a doting father to Aneesa, he has a murky past. The decades-old secrets come to light as Aneesa discovers more about herself.
