Sanjha is a Pakistani romantic drama TV serial that aired on HUM TV. The story is based on the life of a poor girl Sanjha. Sanjha is an innocent girl who does not know that she is sold off to a brothel by her own sister’s husband. Her sister is unaware of this and is informed by her husband that she has sent her off to the city. Sanjha thinks she has been hired as a maid but in reality she has been sent to a brothel. Shabo is another woman who lives at the brothel and has two sons Waheed and Murad.
Waheed begins to develop feelings for Sanjha. Shabana is a writer who also runs an NGO and she visits the brothel with her son to find out more about the lives and living conditions of woman in brothels. Sanjha becomes Reshmi and befriends other girls in the brothel. Mumtaz, the brothel’s owner considers Sanjha a lucky charm. Soon Sanjha discovers that she has been sold off to a brothel and is nowhere to be found. Shabana and her son try hard to look for her. Where could she have gone and what will happen next in her life?
