The story revolves around the village called Rahim Yar Khan. There's a girl named Sammi who is ready for her marriage to Pervaiz Chaudhary. Her brother Waqas demanded the groom's money for the ritual called Mahr. This demand goes physical, and Parvaiz gets killed by her brother in this chaos. Parvaiz's father wanted justice, and Sammi's parents begged for his son's life. Instead of Waqas, Sammi's parents decided to give Sammi to Parvaiz's family, as in Vanni. Vanni means selling off their daughters to the groom's family as compensation. But Rab Nawaz refused to accept her as Vanni and decided to marry off with his 12-year-old son Fazal. Later, Rashid helps her escape from the village and sends her to Karachi. She started working in a beauty salon in Karachi, where she gained respect.
