The series starts with a couple- Ghazal and Shobi. They have been happily married for seven years. They love each other a lot. Shobi has a younger brother, Sherry. Sherry is a college student. He is a sensitive man. Ghazal has a best friend, Ruha. Ruha and Ghazal have a deep friendship and are like sisters to each other. Ruha hangs out a lot with Ghazal’s family. Ruha and Sherry form a friendship over the years. Sherry considers her a good friend, while Ruha sees him as an annoying person.

Sherry falls in love with Ruha. Ghazal has found a photo of Sherry and Shobi in Ruha’s book and assumes she loves Sherry. She encourages Sherry to propose to her. But Ghazal rejects his proposal as she is in love with someone else. Ghazal realizes that Ruha is interested in her husband, Shobi. She is furious and breaks her friendship. Shobi thinks Ghazal’s suspicions are wrong. Ghazal's boss, Ali, has arrived from abroad. Ali is a very talented artist. He loves to make sketches of the faces of women. Ali’s childhood friend, Dr. Zuruba has been waiting for him to arrive as she is interested in him. Ali arrives in Pakistan and reunites with Zuruba. Their friendship turns into love soon. Ali even proposes to her for marriage which she accepts. Their relationship is becoming stronger day by day. Zakhir is a patient in Zuruba’s clinic.

He falls in love with her and wants to marry her. He flirts with her, but Zuruba ignores him as she is committed. Ali meets Ghazal for the first time and notices that she clearly resembles her paintings. He is instantly smitten by her. He assumes her to be his dream girl. He breaks off his engagement with Zuruba, which breaks her. He starts spending time with Ghazal in the office more and more. Ghazal is also forming an interest in him. Ghazal feels an emptiness in her life due to her inability to become a mother. She thinks Ali is filling that gap. Zuruba finally thinks of accepting Zakhir’s proposal. Ruha turns out to be Ali’s cousin. She wants a job at his firm so that she can harass her. Ghazal is obsessed with Shobi and wants him. She convinces Ali to get her a position. Ali also tries to impress Ghazal as he is in love with her.
