Mohabbat Jaaye Bhar Mein is a Pakistani serial in Urdu-Language that premiered on 2nd September 2012 on Hum TV. The serial focuses on Neeli and Shagufta, two individuals living in a low-income housing building. Neeli is a high school student who lives in a low-income family. Growing up in such a situation, Neeli knew her parents couldn't give her a fancy life; thus, she started dating guys who had a lot of money through which she could live her fancy life. On the other hand, Shagufta is an unmarried, attractive woman who lives with her mentally unstable mother and a brother who has down-syndrome. Shagufta doesn't work but earns money through her shares in various shops.

Neeli and Shagufta are friends; Neeli often borrows make-up and jewelry from Shagufta. The neighbors of Shagufta often interpret her as a wrong woman because she is unmarried and hangs out with men at night. However, Shagufta is a kind person at heart and helps needy people.
