Meri Teri Kahani is a 2013 Pakistani Urdu-language series that aired on the renowned channel ARY DIGITAL. The show was produced under the banner of Coconut Pakistan Productions and created by famous television host Mani. The show features celebrity couple Mani and Hira as fictionalized versions of themselves. The show became very much loved and appreciated among the masses, especially in the lower and upper middle-class audiences. The sitcom focuses on a married couple both going through their challenges. The penny-pinching TV star hitting middle age man has a wife who is struggling with baby fat. With this setting and within each episode, these situations take a humorous turn, making the sitcom all the more entertaining to watch.

The sitcom had 40 episodes. One of the most entertaining episodes is- ‘ Wedding Anniversary Click to look into! >> Read More... ,’ where Hira wishes for her husband to get a tattoo on his arm for her while Mani wishes for his wife not to lose her temper for a week as her mood swings become a problem for Mani. In the episode ‘Morning Show,’ Mani embarrasses Hira by failing a quiz about her likes and dislikes. Determined not to let the humiliation pass, Hira books their presence on a more popular show where Mani again is quizzed about her likes and dislikes. Mani is faced with the most significant mental challenge and has no option but to cheat.

The episode’School Admission,’ is filled with humour, so much so that it will hurt your tummy! In this episode, Mani and Hira wish to enroll their child in an English Medium school but are rejected on the basis that their English is poor. To pass the English test, Hira hires a tutor even when Mani is not quite happy with the idea. What happens next? The rest of the episode deals with that.
