One needs sufficient money to survive in this world. But when survival turns into desire, there begins a ceaseless journey of fetching money. People go beyond their morals to become rich. But even after they do everything for money, they fail to obtain happiness in their lives. This serial focuses on such a message through the lives of Jahan Aara, Haris, and Jiya. Aara is a single woman with a dominant personality. She literally controls the house as every property runs in her name. Even though she is strikingly rich, she has an unfulfilled wish in her life. She wants to marry someone and lead the life of her choice. But her father restricts her from doing so in the name of heritage. She desperately wishes to marry someone of her liking. While this happens, another man named Haris comes into play.

He hails from a poor background, and his only motive is to settle abroad. He is sick of leaving a money-deprived life. And so, he is left with the mindset of doing anything to become rich. But his mother has other plans for him. She wants him to get married to a good-natured woman. She finds Jiya to be the suitable choice and forces him to tie the knot with her. Jiya is a kind-hearted girl from a poor family. She lives with her uncle in a tragic way. She wishes to lead a happy life through some miracle. So, when Haris's mother proposes to her for their marriage, she becomes eager for the marriage.

But sorrow strikes her when she realises Haris's nature. She works hard to gain his attention through her caring deeds. Meanwhile, Aara finds out about Haris, and she thinks he is the right choice for her. So, she lends him an opportunity to become rich by marrying her. Also, she starts creating trouble in the relationship between Jiya and Haris. Will Haris make the choice that he's been waiting for a long time? Or will he get united with Jiya through love? Well, that becomes the storyline here.
