Mera Maan Rakhna is an emotional family drama serial which aired on TV One in 2020. The serial starts with two lovers Momina and Sajjad who fall in love with each other and want to tie the knot. However their families have always been against their relationship and marriage. The lovers who longed for each other decide to elope and get married. After their marriage is revealed to the world and their families, Sajjad ends up being forgiven by his mother Farida but Momina is tagged as a shame to the family. Farida does not forgive Momina and always accuses her of shaming and tainting the family name by being the Daughter-in-law. Momina is a kind hearted and sensitive woman who is a great wife and later becomes a great mother to her children. Despite the constant hate and disapproval she gets from her in-laws she never lost faith in her relationships.
She always manages to remain optimist and patient. Later in life her daughter Muqaddus falls in love with a boy and wants to marry him but her mother’s tainted image acts as a big hindrance. That is when a new side of Momina is revealed. Will Momina be able to clear her name and bring happiness in her daughter’s life?
