The serial first premiered on Geo Entertainment on 18th November 2018 and continued up until 29th April 2019. The story revolves around Maria, a young woman. Maria is depicted as a well-mannered, kind, and gentle woman who is raised by her mother.

Maria's father is depicted as a pious Muslim while her mother is a Christian and hence of a different religious faith. As Maria was raised by her mother from a young age, she has always been subjected to Christianity. However, as she grows up she is looked down upon and faces discrimination by her own aunt and uncle who are Muslims. This is because of her mother being a Christian. The show shows Maria's inclination, curiosity, and interest in the Muslim religion. The story also depicts the lives of her boss Amar and his family comprising his brother Danish and Danish's fiance. How Maria figures out the complications in her family and finds her true faith and religion is what constitutes the rest of the episodes.
