Ishq Mohalla is a Pakistani serial that premiered in 2019 on Urdu 1. It is an Urdu-language serial. The story focuses on the lives of the Choudhry family and various situations in their life. Ishq Mohalla is the story of two brothers Naseer Choudhry and Basheer Choudhry as they deal with their wives. Naila and Shumaila are sisters who have married the brothers and live together in a bungalow. However, even though they are sisters, there is no affection or sisterhood between Naila and Shumaila. The sisters hate each other and constantly compete with each other, in terms of wealth. Naseer and Basheer run a general store and are happy with their brotherhood. However, they are equally stressed because of their wives’ hatred for each other.

The story follows fun situations where the sisters try to degrade each other whether it’s through buying fish or faking their love for each other. Both sisters don’t have money and have been insulted by their friends and relatives because of their greedy nature. Naseer and Basheer thought of a plan to end the hatred between the sisters and make their sisterhood bloom. They decided to call an artist to disguise the sister's rich cousin named Sharafat. In this plan, the sisters would have to follow the instructions given by the actor to ,earn his generational wealth—the plan failed when the sisters heard the brother’s conversation regarding the artist and decided to kick him out of the house. The story escalates when the children of the couple return from their aunt’s house. Anny is the daughter of Naila and Naseer. Shahid is the son of Shumaila and Basheer.

Both sister’s warn their children to stay away from the other and build hatred against them. Naila persuades Naseer to plot a plan to move Shumaila away from her house and end the partnership of the shop. The narrative paces when Shumaila decides to marry her son to the daughter of a wealthy man. Naila gets envious of Shumaila and decides to rent a son to marry him off and earn the dowry money to live a wealthy lifestyle. What will happen next? Watch the serial to find out.
