Haqeeqat is a Pakistani TV show that aired on A Plus TV in 2019. The plot of the series deals with the atrocities that a woman has to face in an unjust society. The show does not fail to highlight how a woman has different roles throughout her life and how she suffers in each one of them. Be it a mother, daughter, sister, house help, wife, or a working woman, she has to go through a lot of challenges and unfair, hypocritical situations. Beauty for a woman is a blessing, but this blessing feels like a curse when people around her try to exploit it or take advantage of it. The story shows how different women from different social classes are forced to abide by the patriarchal society. They feel trapped each moment in their life and try to escape from this toxic system.
