, written by Mamoona Aziz and directed by Syed Zeeshan Ali Zaidi. Ek Jhoota Lafz Mohabbat’s story revolves around two sisters, Aleeza and Areesha. Aleeza sacrifices and cares, while Areesha is stingy and cares for no one but herself, and she always wants to become rich at any cost. She was engaged to her cousin Maaz who isn’t a rich man.
She runaway with a wealthy man on the evening of her wedding and forces her family to marry Aleeza to Areesha's fiance Maaz. Her father (Sajid Hasan) begs her to save his dignity by marrying her cousin. Maaz's mother, Rehana, behaves rudely towards her. Aleeza's parents worry about her future as Rehana doesn't love her due to her failed first marriage. It's only a time before Areesha returns to ruin the couple's married life.
