The story revolves around two different characters Urwa, an engineering student with a subtle nature, and Amina, a callow personality, and is set in the '70s. Urwa happens to like his fellow student in college, Azra, who matches up his expectations in terms of intellect. Urwa's father, after getting to know about this situation, forces Urwa into marriage with Amina. The childish Amina struggles with the household works that she is expected to have mastery over as a homemaker after getting married. During the early stage of marriage, Urwa didn't feel a connection towards Amina, thanks to her childish antics. But after being associated with her for a while, he finds her efforts and loving nature attractive and falls in love with her.
