The story starts with Behzab and Shayan. They have been good friends for a long time. They are close friends, and their family assumes they love each other. Since their friendship is strong, Behzab’s mother goes to Shaydan’s house, and talks about their marriage. Shaydan tells Behzab that he has always seen her as a friend. He had never professed love or made marriage promises to her. Behzab is mentally shattered. All these years, she thought Shayan had loved her as much as she loved him.

Heartbroken Behzab goes to her mother and confesses her feelings. She felt humiliated and used. She tells her mother that she will marry someone whom her mother chooses. Behzab has a cousin, Shaizan. They are cousins but childhood friends also. They share everything and have a good relationship. Behzab’s mother chooses Shaizan as her groom. Behzab does not refuse. Shaizan had feelings for Behzab for a long time, so he readily agreed to marriage if Behzab agreed. Behzab does not refuse. Although she still feels for Shayan, she knows Shaizan is a good man and the best choice.

As their marriage inches closer, Shayan realizes he is in love with Behzab. He thinks about going to her marriage to ask her not to marry Shaizan. However, his parents do not allow him to. He tries to commit suicide but, fortunately, escapes death. Seeing his love, Shayan’s parents go to Behzab’s house and beg her to marry Shayan. As an understanding man, Shaizan backs off from the marriage. Behzab and Shayan marry each other, but their relationship is not as loving as before.

Meanwhile, Shayan discovers that he is infertile. But to save him from the embarrassment, Behzab tells everyone that she cannot be a mother. Behzab and Shayn’s relationship is getting stronger again. But at the same time, Shayan’s parents hate Behzab as she cannot continue their lineage. Fortunately, Behzab becomes pregnant. But Shyan knows that it is medically impossible. He doubts that Behzab had an affair with Shaizan. He alleges Behzab to be a characterless lady. Behzab could not take the humiliation and returned to her mother’s home. Shayan asks for a divorce, but Behzab knows that this is Shayan’s child. She agrees to the divorce because Shayan has been cruel to her. She files for divorce and consequently shows the DNA report of the baby that proves that Shayan is the father. Shayan now feels guilty for what he has done. He tries to woo Behzab back into his life.
