Aik Thi Paro is a Pakistani drama TV serial that aired on TV One. This show revolves around the life of Paro and her struggle to find love in her life. Paro is the beautiful daughter of a Maulvi. She is in love with Amir and is waiting to get married. Maulvi loves her and cherishes her the most, so he agrees to get her married to Amir, but circumstances decide otherwise. Due to some problems, Paro gets married to Hasan Mirza, a married man with two children. Hasan Mirza is an abusive husband who tortures Paro every day. Day by day, his abuses grow to the point where Paro decides to leave him while pregnant.
She meets Amir for his support and love, but it turns out Amir is not as good a person as he pretends to be. He wants Paro to abort her unborn child and drags her in front of the media. During all this, Hasan Mirza re-enters her life and demands a chance to be forgiven. He requests her to come back to him, which leaves her in a state of confusion. Whom does she choose to be with?
